DESCRIPTION
This handcrafted piece tells a history woven with myths. The Kutch work in many ways, reflects the vibrancy of India through its colors, embellishments and motifs. The bag is made from traditionally old fabrics which are then stiched together by a technique called Kantha embroidery by the locals. This embroidery is done by the local women of Ludiya village in Kutch district. The patch of bead embroidery attached to the centre of the bag, has been made by Afghan refugee women residing in New Delhi. The wool tassels attached all over the bag has been hand-made and hand stitched by our local women in Delhi studio. The antique metal beads attached around the bead embroidery were taken from vintage Junk tribal jewelries to give this bag an authentic vintage look. The sling of bag is made of genuine leather, hand-braided and then hand stitched on the bag. The slight irregularities or imperfections are the add on beauty to this handmade piece of art which gives it a "One Of A Kind Look." KYLO has named this style "MAZU".
