DESCRIPTION
This handcrafted piece will take you to meet the artwork and history of Banjaran tribe of India, usually described as nomadic people. India has been endowed with a rich tribal culture, which despite modernisation has kept its unique traditions and values intact. This artistic piece tells you a story about how its been made by Lambani women of Banjara tribe. Lambani women especialize in Lepo embroidery which involves stitching pieces of mirror, vintage metal beads & coins. The sling of bag is made from long dori used by Lambani women as their waist belt. The bead embroidery and colorful wool tassels on the bag has been made by Afghan refugee women residing in New Delhi, India. Every element in this piece of art gives it a "One Of A Kind" touch. KYLO calls this style "AKEEBA".
